Riqueza / Riqueza South

Riqueza /Riqueza South is a Zn-Ag-Pb-Au-Cu focused project located within a part of Peru’s mineral belt called the Miocene Porphyry-skarn Mineral Belt and the Chonta Mineral Belt more locally. This northwest-southeast belt hosts numerous porphyry and skarn deposits, several large mines and dozens of smaller mines.

Riqueza / Riqueza South is highly prospective for porphyry and porphyry-related mineralisation including: Zn-Ag-Pb vein, breccia, manto replacements mineralisation; Cu skarn replacement mineralisation; and Au-Ag epithermal mineralisation. All three forms of mineralisation are already known at Riqueza / Riqueza South.

Importantly, there are three known porphyries within 20km of Riqueza / Riqueza South and all of these have mineralisation related to them.

Exploration conducted by Inca at Riqueza / Riqueza South to date has identified an intrusive-related mineralised system covering a 25 square kilometre area. Geophysics has identified several large porphyry and porphyry-skarn targets within this area. Inca has delineated innumerable vein, stockwork, breccia and manto Zn-Ag-Pb carbonate replacement deposits (CRD), high-sulphidation vein and stockwork Au-Ag occurrences and a skarn Cu occurrence.

Riqueza  / Riqueza South is surrounded by mining infrastructure. A powerline supplying electricity to the Heraldos Negros Mine comes to within eight kilometres of Riqueza /Riqueza South. Within haulage distance of Riqueza / Riqueza South, there are three treatment plants, two of which can produce Zn and Pb-Ag concentrates. The project has all-weather access and there is an ample water supply.
