Cerro Rayas
Inca’s Cerro Rayas Project, just 15kms from Riqueza, sits within a second mineralised corridor that is parallel to the Chonta Mineral Belt, within the broader Miocene Au-Ag Epithermal-Cu-Au-Ag-Mo Porphyry-Cu-Zn Skarn Mineral Belt. Numerous mine workings occur within the project area, located along major northwest-southeast structures traverse Cerro Rayas. We see a very similar trajectory for Cerro Rayas as Riqueza, that of discovery, target generation, drilling and partnership.
Cerro Rayas comprises nine granted concessions (2,770ha). Several zones of mineralisation with above 30% Zn and 30% Pb have already been recorded in preliminary sampling.
The project hosts several targets which might be considered “drill-ready”. Detailed mapping and channel sampling of these will de-risk initial drilling, whilst possible project-wide geophysics could add additional targets for drill-testing in the future.
